Dr. Eric Clarkson

Dr. Eric Clarkson was born in Dodge City, Kansas and is a graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene University. He obtained his medical degree at the Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine while earning his Masters in Business Administration from Rockhurst University. His residency was at The University of Kansas Family Medicine Residency program where he also served as Chief Resident
Dr. Clarkson came to Pratt Family Practice immediately after residency in 2010. He practices full spectrum family medicine from newborns to the elderly including Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. He has a busy Obstetrics practice and loves delivering babies and caring for expectant mothers.
Dr Clarkson serves as the PRMC Emergency Department Medical Director, Pratt County EMS Medical Director, and he is a founding board member and Medical Director of the Agape Clinic (Pratt County's free health clinic). Dr Clarkson serves as adjunct professor for the University of Kansas School of Medicine and enjoys teaching. He often is found precepting pre-med and med school students the art of rural Family Medicine.
Dr Clarkson is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is a Board Certified Family Physician by the American Board of Family Medicine.
In addition to his professional life and busy medical practice, he is on the board of Youth Core Ministries and serves as youth director and board secretary for Abundant Harvest Church of the Nazarene where he also teaches the teen Sunday School class.
Dr. Clarkson lives in Pratt along with his incredible wife Amy Clarkson MD, and their 3 teenagers Tess, Cade, and Ian.
